ALEA Crash Reports

The fee for a PDF copy of an accident report is $17.00 ($15.00 per report as directed by Alabama statute, plus a $2.00 per report processing fee). Reports may be purchased with all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover).

Notes:

You will have the option to add more than one crash report to your order, making only one payment for all crash reports added to the order.
Once you have paid for a crash report you will not be able to receive a refund. Please be sure you have selected the correct report based on your submitted search criteria before entering your credit card information.

Note: It could take up to 10 business days from the date of the crash for the crash report to be available online.

An email with a Confirmation Number and Crash Report Number (located on your receipt) will be sent to you and your purchased crash reports will be accessible for 7 days from date you first view the report. For further information regarding the contents of the report, please contact the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at: (334) 517-2800. Adobe PDF documents require the free Adobe Reader to view and print.

Step 3: Enter the search criteria for your request (Driver's License, Driver's Name, or Crash Report Number).
Step 4: Select the correct Crash Report from the list of search results.
Step 5: Verify that the information is correct before purchasing.
Step 6: Enter your credit card information to complete the purchase.
Step 7: Click the "Printable Crash Report" button at the top of the receipt confirmation page. This page is displayed after you enter your credit card information.
