Requirements to Reprint a License

Only valid, active licenses can be reprinted. Voided, revoked and expired licenses (except saltwater) are not available. For lifetime license replacement cards see below.

Note About Saltwater Licenses

Due to many requests for previous saltwater licenses, those licenses issued electronically from 2008 through 2012 are available through this web application. During that time, some licenses were issued manually. Unfortunately, any records of these manually issued licenses are only available in our Montgomery office.

Passbooks for iOS Devices

If you have an iOS device that supports the Passbook application you can have the Passbook for your Alabama Hunting and Fishing license sent to your email. On the following page where your active licenses are displayed you will find a "Resend" link under the heading "iOS Passbook". This link will allow you to resend the Passbook to an email address that you provide. You will need to open this email on your iOS device that supports Passbook. The email will include an attachment, this attachment is your Passbook. Clicking on the attachment should open the Passbook application. At this time, lifetime licenses cannot be displayed via the Passbook application.

Lifetime Licenses

You may request a lifetime license replacement card by selecting "purchase a license online" enter your state of residency and date of birth. On the privilege page select "lifetime license replacement". Replacements may also be obtained by visiting any Probate or License Commissioner's Office in the State.

Technical Requirements

To print your license, you will be required to have the latest version of Adobe PDF Reader installed on the computer. If you do not have Adobe Reader and do not wish to install it on the computer, you may print the license by selecting the TIFF link which will provide a TIFF graphic image.
